In a pivotal move to bolster digital skills within the nation, the Ministry of Skills Audit and Development is excited to announce the launch of a transformative Cyber Security training programme in collaboration with Cylab Africa from Rwanda. This initiative, named picoCTF-Africa, aligns with the Second Republic’s commitment to enhancing digital literacy and security, skills which are being promoted under the leadership of His Excellency, the President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa.
PicoCTF-Africa is a free training programme designed to elevate cybersecurity knowledge and skills among participants, particularly focusing on underserved communities and women. By fostering STEM education and empowering Zimbabweans with essential digital skills, this partnership aims to cultivate a secure and inclusive technological environment, equipping participants for success in an increasingly digital landscape.
The Harare Institute of Technology are the first beneficiaries today.
